Today, (Easter Sunday) AMERICA showed up at our waterfront with her passengers to tour our historic civil war town of Vicksburg, MS.
Turning sideways to lineup to dock.
Coming towards the landing.
Crews getting the ropes ready to land and secure the riverboat.
Two crewmen jumped off to guide America towards the landing.
Trying to get things lined up to lower the walkway and securing the riverboat.
I left before America's walkway was down and was very interesting to see what was involved in landing/docking a riverboat in the Yazoo Diversion Canal.
